First Haircut for Mallory Kate!

Today we had Mallory Kate's first haircut. We went to Jelly Beans and had her penny haircut! Mallory Kate was well behaved...she was just a little curious as to what was going on! The lady cut almost 2 inches off...and I was holding my breath the whole time, wondering what was going to happen to her curls! AND THE CURLS STAYED...YEAH! They bounced right back up! Enjoy the pics and check out Mallory Kate's facial expressions! :)

Getting ready...

"I'm not so sure about this!"

First Day of 1st Grade...

Graham started first grade last week. Mrs. Saunders, a good friend of mine, is his teacher this year. But let me tell you what Graham had to say when his daddy asked how his first day of school went. When Greg asked if he stayed on green card, Graham replies..."Well, I had to flip to yellow today because my teacher wrestled me up against the lamp, but it wasn't my fault." Of course, we both fell in the floor rolling with laughter! Graham then busts out with laughter, too and said "I was just kidding!" (I see Greg's sense of humor coming out more and more in Graham!) We are really looking forward to a great first grade year!

Supper Club Lake Trip

Our Supper Club went to the Poe's Lake House (on Keowee) this weekend...no kids allowed this time! What fun! We went out on the boats, tubed, skied, relaxed on floats, and a few of the men, including Greg, jumped from the rock! We had a great dinner Saturday night- Low Country Boil..mmmmm...good! I can't wait to do this again next year! :)

Last minute summer flings...

Lake Trip
We went last Sunday to the lake for the day with the Columbias'- Shella, Scott, Meredith, and Will. We rode on the boat and even grilled hamburgers the old-fashion way over an open fire in foil (b/c someone forgot the propane)! But actually, those were the best burgers I've had in a long time! We went tubing on this monsterous tube- which I might add Shella and I almost went overboard! The boys especially liked tubing.

Braves Game
This past weekend, we went to Atlanta to see a Braves Game. Our family (minus Mallory Kate- she stayed with my sister-in-law) went with Daryl and the girls on Friday night. It was blazing hot until the sun went down- but we had a fantastic time! Can I just say ball parks have the best junk food ever? I love it!! Well, the Braves didn't do so hot against the Brewers, but we enjoyed the major league atmosphere!
